It’s already been two weeks since the last Nitro Network Bulletin, and so much has happened. For those that missed it: The crypto market is making a comeback — and Nitro Network is riding the wave up as well. With the resurgence of the market and increased investor confidence, there’s never been a better time to share all of Nitro Network’s exciting new developments.

The Nitro Network team has been working diligently to ensure that every step forward builds momentum for the future. Cashback distribution for August

First and foremost, Nitro Network is always aiming to provide its community with fantastic benefits and rewards. With that being said, cashback distributions for all pre-order batches from the month of August have been completed. Cashback quantities will be $45, $36 and $23 for Batches 1, 2 and 3 respectively — while the specific NCash are as follows:

The spot price of NCash used for August’s cashback snapshot was $0.000132, the moving average of the last 30 days. Nitro Network’s Discord invite contest

As most already know, the Nitro Network Discord is a great place to hang out and interact with other members of the community and also receive frequent updates from the Nitro Network team. The Nitro Network tokenomics update is finally live

It’s been a long time coming, but the wait is over! The Nitro Network team has been hard at work preparing a document that many have eagerly anticipated. That’s right, the long-awaited Nitro Network NCash tokenomics update is finally here.

Nitro Network’s commitment to transparency and sharing its vision of NCash tokenomics is illustrated in this update, which shows how the team is moving forward on those goals:

Rewards for Nitro Network’s current community programs will be minted and distributed to settle all outstanding claims.
Nitro Network will adopt a “mint as per usage (generative minting)” reward strategy, meaning that only a few reward pools will be currently available to prevent excess minting but more will be implemented at a later date as needed.
Nitro Network’s current areas of focus will be on Network Infrastructure Mining, Network Coverage Validation, Network Data Transfer and Staking Rewards.
Nitro Network plans to revise its NFM mint maximums as a result of the disparity between the original NFM mint maximums and the actual number of NFMs minted.
Nitro Network’s token burn program will utilize any reward pools that aren’t being consumed, and a small percentage — generated by NFM sales — will also contribute toward this burn effort.

Nitro Network’s burn program

The NCash burning program is a continuous process that ensures the liquidity and value of NCash. It also supports Nitro Network’s goal of promoting a healthy, transparent ecosystem:

At the end of July, a total of 45 million NCash was burned — nearly double the burn amount of June. This contribution came from revenue generated by NFTrade Farm.
Nitro Network also burned 1.2 billion old NCash (ERC-20) accumulated through its staking and swapping program.

Going forward, Nitro Network also plans to burn more ERC-20 NCash after performing due diligence.

Large-scale announcements for Nitro Network’s IoT

Last month, the community learned of Nitro Network’s IoT solutions for a cement factory, a residential complex and even a smart poultry farm. In these three cases, the Nitro Network team managed to:

Reduce electricity consumption by up to 30%.
Cut workforce costs by up to 80% via automated operational efficiencies.
Extend asset lifespan due to improved conditions created by IoT sensors.

But these advancements are only the tip of the iceberg — early proofs-of-concept.

In the coming weeks, Nitro Network will be releasing a major announcement about an advanced IoT solution that is in the works to improve energy efficiency and carbon emissions on a grander scale than ever before — there is potential to reduce the consumption of electricity up to 25% on a city-wide level!

Recapping Nitro Network’s Town Hall #9

The latest installment of Nitro Network’s bi-weekly Discord Town Hall featured its CEO, Anoop Vootkuri, in an hour-long discussion addressing the community’s latest questions. The AMA covered Nitro Network’s tokenomics, NFM rewards, Nesting shipments, 5G technology and more!

Specifically, Vootkuri emphasized that:

The Nitro Network team will be following up on any tickets opened up on Discord from users with any issues regarding unclaimed rewards.
The Nitro Network team will conclude its minting process in six years while maintaining its burning process, which means that as supply decreases, the price should increase.
The Nitro Network team will release content-opening videos for its miners prior to the Phase 1 deployment, which will provide a glimpse into what Nesters can expect.
The Nitro Network team has successfully developed prototypes for its first 5G smart cells, along with more plans to implement 5G technology coming in the research and development pipeline.
The Nitro Network team is working on a deployment map for users, which will outline all information related to the network, deployment data, rewards, hash IDs and transactions.
The Nitro Network team will be consolidating all plans and concepts into a roadmap, which will be made available to the community soon.

The Nesting Platform Heatmap, which will provide Nester-related data in real-time, including Nitro ION deployment progress, the number deployed, Nester density and more.
The Super Nest whitepaper, which the community has been eagerly awaiting, to provide a transparent start-to-end breakdown of the Super Nest Program, its applications and its implementation plan.
