Nitro Network Visits The Avalanche Summit Conference In Barcelona

The Avalanche Summit was fantastic for Nitro Network. From March 22 to March 27, there was amazing energy from the 3,500 people who attended the Avalanche Summit throughout Poble Espanyol and Nitro Network was there to spread the word to all of them!

Over the past few months, we have strengthened our partnership with Avalanche and have discussed how Nitro will utilize the AVAX blockchain. The passion all around us showed how wide Avalanche’s influence is and how versatile a partnership with them will be.

As the days and conversations continued on, talks of subnets, the evolution of GameFi, funding social infrastructure and future partnerships gave us a clear picture of the Avalanche community and Nitro Network’s role in it. We have a bunch of exciting news and partnerships in the works, but we cannot provide any specific details just yet! Nevertheless, let’s touch on a few points that we are excited about from the AVAX summit.

Avalanche subnets are making waves

Subnetworks, also known as subnets, are the subdivisions of a network. Essentially, you are splitting one network into two in order to increase efficiency and speed. Avalanche recently invested $290M on subnet developments, putting emphasis on network expansion. From March 14 to March 31, Avalanche jumped 43.80%! The subnet developments had an impact on that figure, according to some analysts.

As sectors such as DeFi and NFTs grow, the Avalanche blockchain wants to support more projects in that space. As a platform that allows the creation of blockchain applications, support for Avalanche will only strengthen Nitro Network’s position in multiple fields.

Because of Nitro Network’s position as an Internet-of-Things (IoT) blockchain network, which involves connecting objects to the internet, Avalanche’s varied subnets provide countless possibilities for Nitro Network.

Avalanche is involved in projects that span decentralized finance and blockchain games along with projects that hope to pioneer new ground. As crypto technology goes forward, so will Avalanche subnets and Nitro Network’s ecosystem.

GameFi, Grimes, and funding artists

GameFi and its evolution was portrayed in multiple panels at the summit. GameFi is the ecosystem of games that allows you to earn blockchain tokens. Examples of popular GameFi projects include Axie Infinity and The Sandbox. Both Axie Infinity and Sandbox operate on a pay-to-earn model and allow you to use blockchain to better your position in the game and earn tokens.

Video games are a multi-billion dollar industry and also provide fun and utility in blockchain. Individuals young and old will find it easy to engage in games and art as an entrypoint into crypto. The emphasis on GameFi combines games and blockchain’s earning potential, easing the users into adopting blockchain technology into their daily lives. It is only natural that Avalanche will help to grow this important space.

Avalanche also announced a $100M fund for social infrastructure. This will support artists, musicians, and content creators, the ones who add color and excitement to crypto. Grimes herself hosted a live stream at the Avalanche Summit, knowing just how important Avalanche is to the current and future state of blockchain. Artists interested in crypto will soon take note of how robust the Avalanche ecosystem is and explore its possibilities.

Nitro Network’s own NFMs, NFT art enclosed with DeFi mining capabilities, are powered by Avalanche, so the increased emphasis in this space showed us how committed Avalanche is to expanding these networks.

Expanding Nitro’s partnerships and opportunities

The summit brought us face-to-face with partners and budding partnerships. Nitro Network forged big partnerships within the first few months of 2022 alone, namely Cointelegraph, Avalanche, Beefy Finance, and Pangolin, so these opportunities signal good things to come.

We also found market makers with an interest in what we wanted to achieve, and discussed upcoming partnerships with all sorts of exchanges, including NFT exchanges and others deeply involved in crypto, with DeFi-protocol partnerships on the table as well. The Nitro Network team was involved in talks with a variety of networks related to DeFi. When it comes to possibilities for Nitro Network to reward its users, exploring options is important.

Along with this, Nitro Network met with venture capitalists from multiple established institutions. This has put us on the map, adding a face behind the ambitious projects that we’ve been working on. More and more names and institutions are becoming familiar with Nitro Network and the major moves that we are making.

Nitro Network also met with the founder and CEO of Ava Labs and the team behind Avalanche. This helped to add context to Nitro Network’s partnership with Avalanche and what it may mean for both parties. We also engaged in talks with several players in the Avalanche ecosystem, giving us fertile ground to grow our relationship in this space.

Our partner, Cointelegraph, was also interviewed at the summit, and its involvement with Avalanche bodes well for Nitro Network as a whole.

A partnership with Avalanche won’t end with just blockchain for our network. It will extend to multiple fields and partners. Our partnership will be all-encompassing in blockchain and a variety of fields as a whole!

Avalanche’s evolution is Nitro Network’s evolution

Because of Nitro Network’s Internet-of-Things, the partnership possibilities are infinite. Avalanche spans through decentralized finance, art, games and anything that can be imagined on the blockchain. The summit gave us a great read on how wide the Avalanche ecosystem spans, how involved Avalanche is on the evolution of blockchain, and ultimately how we can further pioneer blockchain technology. Nitro Network has added a face to its project. Partnership opportunities for Avalanche and for Nitro Network are imminent and the future is bright for this dynamic duo!
