Pan India departmental store chain Shoppers Stop to implement the Nucleus Vision offering in their stores

Shoppers Stop is one of India’s oldest and biggest retail shopping chains. The company opened its first store in 1991 and since then it has opened 83 stores across 38 cities in India. Shoppers Stop sells wide range of products across clothing, accessories, handbags, shoes, jewellery, fragrances, cosmetics, health and beauty products.

Shoppers Stop wants to partner with Nucleus Vision to strengthen their customer analytics and loyalty program. Over the past few years, Shoppers Stop has been working hard towards creating an omni-channel presence, expects 10% of their sales to come from new channel adoption in FY-18.

Shoppers Stop’s MD, Govind Shrikhande said, “the ability to collect shopping habits data across stores and outside is really powerful. It will multiply our understanding about customers and serve them better to improve the brand loyalty. This is a great boon from Nucleus Vision. Through this scalable cutting edge technology, we will be able to get a deeper understanding of our users”

For Nucleus Vision, this is a great opportunity to implement the platform at scale with one of India’s most trusted shopping brands. Nucleus Vision’s CEO Abhishek Pitti said, “It is heartening to gain the trust of a brand like Shoppers Stop and it will go a long way in validating our approach to solving the problem of giving customer insight to retailers around the world in a safe and secure manner”.
