About Croma:

Croma is a Tata enterprise and the first-of-its-kind large format specialist retail chain for consumer electronics and durables in India. Tata Group’s Infiniti Retail runs the stores in India. Launched in 2006, the brand operates more than 110 stores in 19 major cities of India and offers 6000 products in five lead segments, namely, home appliances, entertainment, IT products, digital imaging, and communication, across 200 brands. Croma launched its own label products in 2008.

About Nucleus Vision:

Nucleus Vision is an Internet of Things (IoT) and Blockchain-based customer identification platform that allows brick-and-mortar retailers to identify any customer who walks into a store, in real-time, using Nucleus’ proprietary ION sensor technology. Nucleus ION sensors don’t depend on RFID, WiFi or Bluetooth, or even facial recognition technologies to operate.

Nucleus empowers retail stores with an intelligence layer of customer data, which was until now only a feature of the online e-commerce experience. Nucleus Vision takes the power of online, which is Data, and transfers it to the bricks and mortar shopfront.

Founded in 2014 at Harvard University, Nucleus (formerly known as Bell Boi Inc) is backed by Tim Draper, Reliance Capital, IndusAge Partners, and several other prominent industry players. Nucleus has over 50 employees spread across San Francisco and India.

Partnerships include powerhouse clothing and accessory retailers, such as Shoppers Stop, Globus, Bestseller, and Gini & Jony. With the addition of Croma’s consumer electronics to our growing portfolio, Nucleus Vision brings further positive disruption to one of the top five global retail markets.
